Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

i'm considering adding a backup camera to a 2006 cayman...i've got a pioneer AVIC unit and wondered if anyone had pics of what their cameras look like after being installed? and/or any camera suggestions? thanks!

POST 2Original post

If done correcty with a decent camera the install should look factory installed... Take a look at this thread, lots of answers and links to what you are asing about: http://www.planet-9.com/981-diy-dis...-discussion/114895-cayman-roofcam-rear-vision-solved.html?highlight=rear+vision

POST 3Original post

Not the best picture but this is how the camera looks on mine. Used Coolint CT-107B and aligned it flush with the bumper to clear the bumperettes.

POST 4Original post

I originally mounted mine close to the edge of the overhang, like yours. All it took was one slightly rainy day before I decided to move it closer to the plate (to get better protection). I found water droplets found their way onto the lens making it useless.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
