I noticed the left hand edge of the lower windscreen seal, located between the scuttle panel and the windscreen, is lifting on my 2003 996. Has anyone experienced this before, and know how to replace it? Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Lower screen seal Yep been there and fixed it. New part is about £140! Removed all the fixing screws including the ones behind the battery and gently lifted the plastic scuttle sufficiently to allow the rubber seal to be reseated on the edge of the aforementioned plastic scuttle. No need to disturb the wipers or release the screen wash pipes which are attached to the scuttle. Just be gentle! Otherwise it will cost you £140 HTH Pete
Thanks for the reply Pete - I followed your advice and it worked perfectly, problem solved and only cost me 5 minutes not £140! Ta
