After a bit of googling and YouTube I came to the conclusion it was the jet wash pump motor .....

My car had the front bump stops replaced, discs cleaned etc.

Guys, just a quick update and a thanks to Barry at Brooklands , Kent Porsche.I had a few little jobs to have done on the C4S so I thought what better time to get it booked in and done !!!.
Basically the jet wash to the screen had stopped working, when I tried it would just dump the water from the wheel area into the floor !! After a bit of googling and YouTube I came to the conclusion it was the jet wash pump motor ..... a little beyond my 2 spanner's and a hammer hence booking it in with Barry !!!.So the problem was diagnosed and it was infact not getting the correct amps/power (? Prob not the correct way of me explaining !!) to the jet washer wiper stalk assembly !!.Whilst in i also got the headlights refurbed/polished and to say it makes a massive difference Is an understatement !!!!!!...... the headlights now look crystal clear and now seem to 'pop" opposed to the yellowing and tired look .
Whilst they he also prepped and sprayed the area ( hub?) behind the alloys, this now looks fresh and compliments the red callipers ..... all wheel nuts also sprayed .All finished off with the car being detailed and now looks a million dollars !!!!!!!!!.
All in all money very well spent , I must say Brooklands , Kent's indie rates are great, the team are very friendly and always have time to chat and advise owners like myself who may not have the experience of some of the people on the forum .If your in the south east area and looking for a great indie then give them a call I'm sure you won't be disappointed !!, they are in Swanley just off the M25.

I was there at Brooklands kent this morning, think they were pulling your car out as I was leaving. My car had the front bump stops replaced, discs cleaned etc. I have a silver 996 Turbo. Indeed nice guys and very helpful. :thumb:
