Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am trying to replace the Hard Brake lines from the splitter behind the n/s front headlight to the block that goes half way down the sill. Design911 show the following p/n 99635517911 as no longer available for one of the lines. The other one shows as 99635517712 and available. Is there another p/n for the NLA part or will I just need to make my own brake pipe?

POST 2Original post

I've just changed these on mine, bought from Leicester OPC. Code is slightly different... 996.355.179.13 £40.88 +vat Other one is the same code £48.89+vat Block to n/s rear wheel is 996.355.189.10 £37.04+vat

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I'll give those p/n a go.

POST 4Original post

When I changed them I found the washer bottle breather had caused corrosion to one of the brake pipes - not sure if additives or rubbing caused the rust?
