Sven has two orders that came in anonymously that used the coupon code but he can't assign to the group buy since it didn't have a rennlist or renntech member name on it.

Just to let you know, we are still getting new folks joining the group buy.
Hi, I normally post on the 997 board.
I've contacted Sven at Wilhelmy-IT and he is willing to support a group buy on the smartTOP if we can get enough people to commit. Since this is an off-season product (winter) he is willing to extend this group buy to 997, 996 and the 986. He said this is a one time exception. We can have this run about two weeks and see if there is enough interest.

Sorry, the reason I didn't post price is because the it is different depending on the Porsche model you own. For the 996, it is $299 prior to discount. Discount levels are posted on the 997 link on the above post.

The responses have slowed somewhat. It has been suggested that I expand this group buy to members outside of the Rennlist forum. I have posted on several other Porsche sites with a link back to this thread. Hopefully this will generate additional interest.

you guys won't regrt this buy...almost the best mod I have have ever done!! The remote top is a killer!! (in a good way!!) love to just press you key and your car locks and the cab closes....
Everyone, including one response from Renntech, it looks like we have 17 people on this GB. We just need three more to reach the 20% discount level.

Just a thought - I'm ordering two items (SmartTop and RemoteTop), and so are some others. Could you count that as "two" towards making the next discount level?
