Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Found a leak I'm not sure of what it is. Doesn't smell like oil or coolant. It's the right hose that is leaking. Seems like the connection there is leaking. Where the "hard" line meets the rubber line. Might be due to the real cold weather we've gotten recently. Also noticed the hydraulic fluid reservoir (marked pentosin) is low. How should I go about fixing? Thanks!

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well...Looks like the leak is the high pressure side of the steering hydraulic line.. To to repair the line, you have to replace the line from the transmission tunnel to the back of the car So the motor has to come out to replace the line... Got suggestions for while your engine is out upgrades/maintenance? List so far: -Oil separator -coolant tank -old hoses -???

POST 3Original post

So when are you planning to drop that engine??

POST 4Original post

where is it leaking? theres a fitting about 3 inchs from where you circled and then the line goes to the ps pump right behind the air box, no need to pull the motor for that

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Its located at the very top of the line right where the rubber holder is below the rear deck. Apparently there is a permanent connector (in this case not so permanent) there that is leaking.

POST 6Original post

under the deck at the holder is a fitting both lines seperate there

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I believe the brass color coupling on the right is leaking. It's leaking approx where the shadow begins. Can that be tightened or easily replaced?

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
