Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

any tricks to take it off? Thanks

POST 2Original post

None whatsoever. Loren has a detailed DIY write-up over at Renntech.

POST 3Original post

Loren's instructions and a little patience so not to break anything. Oh yeah, and a 6-pack of beer

POST 4Original post

I would recommend picking up a couple of extra plastic pop rivets that are used in the wheel liners. They are cheap (something like $.10) and can be somewhat stubborn and easy to break off (guess my patience isn't as good as Dells ).

POST 5Original post

Not sure if this helps ya........been awhile but it was pretty simple.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
