Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

strictly unscientific but of the 8 Caymans in our lineup (only 6 shown here), just 2 use the MowerAxle license plate bracket. The other 6 are naked (no front plate).

POST 2Original post

I ordered one yesterday after getting pulled over on Saturday for not having a front plate, just got a warning. Godfrey

POST 3Original post

I bought the front bracket but I don't plan on using it until I get stopped. It's my understanding in Ohio that you have to be pulled over for somthing else, not just for having no front plate. I'm curious, MadEric, were you doing anything else wrong?

POST 4Original post

I received mine yesterday and will try installing it this weekend. Boxman, I have been stopped twice now, once in my 911 and once in the Cayman for not having a front plate. I was also under the impression that generally they will not pull you over just for not having a front plate. Godfrey

POST 5Original post

and now another worry latest news in TX is you can get pulled over and fined for having anything covering up the license plate words or symbols (license plate frame around the plate covers up the words "Texas" or any other symbology on the plate itself). Has the world gone mad? how silly that the judges and lawyers waste their time on this! Even worse, that they'd waste their time pulling you over for no front plate! I would rather see my tax dollars put to better uses.

POST 6Original post

I can sort of understand if the license plate frame covers the state name but when you can get pulled over because the shuttle and stars are covered it is pretty silly. Also one of the justices suggested that people get vanity plates which don't have any of the extra stuff on them, talk about a way to make money for the state. Godfrey
