I figured out how to remove these hideous things from our beautiful interiors.
Ingredients:
Acetone
Armorall
balls enough to apply acetone to your interior
Method:
Apply small amount of acetone to paper towel. Pat on your silkscreened warning and give it a few seconds to work. Using a dry part of the towel wipe off the parts of the label that are ready to come off. Turn your towel often to avoid building up a gooey mess on it and smearing that back onto your visor. Do not scrub very hard, and do not smear outside the limits of your label. Repeat until all trace of label is gone, then rinse (with Armorall).
There is also a "how to" in the articles section. Sounds close to yours. I've not the last ingredient yet...

In my experience, Lacquer Thinner works as well as Acetone, and is safer for the vinyl of the visor. I did mine a couple of months ago, and the vinyl looks like there was never anything on there (didn't even bother with the ArmorAll).
There is also
this procedure
. I think it uses denatured alcohol.

I am with SF on this one.
Russ
Acetone? *shudder*
Make sure you're not smoking a cigarette while you're doing this!
Curious, I looked at the article and the pics show a visor without a mirror and with an image of a single seat. Mine has a mirror and the sticker shows a front and rear seat which is puzzling. Wonder if it is the same as a 911? Guess the technique is the same however.
Yes, the acetone worked well. They look perfect. Of course I'm just like a newbie to not have checked the archives on this...
Hey you give us courage to try it, well maybe after Russ does...
I goofed...the outside of the visor is the same of course, I was referring to the inside on the mirror.
Goof off was the recommended solvent in the former thread.
Air Bag Warning Sticker Cover-Ups
Has anyone tried these:

If these work as advertised, seems like a good solution for those w/a black interior.
I had a pair of those for my both my old Boxsters, even the "illegal" variety ones that Porsche stopped production on. Muhahahaha. They weren't self-stick though, you had to futz with silicone to get them to stick which was "ok" but kind of a pain to do just right, hopefully the self-stick ones that he's gone to now are better/easier to apply.
My husband applied these to my car( black interior) Took just a few minutes and they match the color and shape perfectly and not noticible at all.
Several of the posts here refer to "vinyl." Will I be able to use these mehods with
leather
sun-visors?
