My drivers window doesnt always drop when you open the door causing it to foul when trying to close it again. I have noticed the interior light doesnt always come on either when opening the door. The alarm wont set either when this is going on. I cant seem to work out what or where the switch is that causes the window to drop and interior light to come on. Does anybody have any ideas? I would suspect the switch is just a bit dirty and needs a clean, if I can find it. Thanks

One switch is in the door handle mechanism, and the other is on the interior door handle.

Door handle switch Thanks for that. I cant hear the drivers outside door handle switch click but I can the other three. The drivers isnide one clicks but doesnt operate the window or light. Next stupid question, how difficut is it to access the internal switch, ie remove the trim etc? Thanks Ritchie

There are some instructions here: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=7066&view=findpost&p=35212 They are taken from the workshop manual, and to be honest, aren't that brilliant but you'll get the idea. One thing that seems to be missing though, is the screw in the door pocket (item 9 in the pic above).
