Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T150451Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Why is it every time I get to near 100% perfect something else breaks or falls off? Did the groaning front wheel bearing in the week, car going great again, Markupton pops over is his lovely Seal Grey C2 on Saturday for me to work on, I do the job then go to put mine back on the drive. To my horror there is a pool of Green coloured water under the OS headlamp  My first thought were that she had seen me with someone else and had been crying but after further interigation it was the ruddy radiator. So... I will fix this tomorrow if I can pick one up local but I am thinking what next? Costs me £1000s, takes up most of my time and I am still in love! I hope you feel the same about your school boy poster.

POST 3Original post

Unlucky mate, I drove mine to work on friday and came back to find nearly all the coolant over the floor   I know how you're feeling TB

POST 4Original post

Labour of love, wouldn't have it any other way!

POST 5Original post

There's always something to do on a Porsche! Monday :mechanic: Tuesday :mechanic: Wednesday :mechanic: Thursday :mechanic: Friday :mechanic: Saturday :mechanic: Sunday :drive: Porsche, not for the Pauper.

POST 6Original post

So.... when I owned a TVR I had all the Porsche owners telling me how unreliable my car was supposed to be and how I should have bought a German machine with their fine tolerances and attention to detail. Now I have one of them fine German machines and you lot are all talking about how often you have to work on them to keep them ticking over. Can't win :dont know:

POST 7Original post

More like tuning a grand piano that re engineering a disaster

POST 8Original post

With a Porsche you at least get to do the repairs in the warmth of the garage, with a TVR you would be doing it on the side of the road

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I like that I agree, many cars just think f... it, I am breaking down but a Porsche usually says 'I'm poorly, take me home and make me better'

POST 10Original post

although it is actually quite rare for parts to fail, more often than not they have reached the end of their operating life

POST 11Original post

Yep, I've certainly operated the living daylights out of mine TB
