Called More than Polish they told me its normal to beep after setting despite it has never done it before.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Can some help here. Had a guy out today to check over my Porsche for a possible new customer. Since he has left now on locking the car I get a beep from the alarm on setting?? Evething is shut so what can it be?
Tried all the doors and central box no joy. Called the engineer now my blood pressure is raising as he says nothing to do with his visit today. Called More than Polish they told me its normal to beep after setting despite it has never done it before. Pleas help I have tried the ignition on for 60 seconds what more can I do?
Have you tried locking the centre console to be sure? Mine can be a bit picky about the centre console as above but if I lock it then everything is ok.
Cheers,
Phil
If you push the button once it locks everything and sets the alarm. If you push it twice it beeps because you disabled the internal sensors I think with the second push.
If it beeps on one push then something isn't shut as already mentioned above. Only way to find out what is to get the codes read.
Do you think it would be reasonable for the company who carried out the check to pay for the code readin? I am well pissed off especially as the guy drove at 100mph on the road test!!!
Good to know about the centre console thing - I'm sure I would have been scratching my head when I eventually do this myself!
So what else could register as open then?
Doors
Boot?
Bonnet?
Centre console
Glovebox?
Tell you what else I am a sad arse all it was was the covertible top motion had not been finished all the way and as a result it beeped oh well you live and learn sorry to waste your time!!!
I think we have all been there!
Welllll true confession.
After buying mine. Drove home ... played
Got out locked up .. double beep .. ahhh panic...
Luckily the seller was able to put me right with that loaded question...
"did you unlock the center console and lock it?"
Well no I hadn't!
Heyb ho
