Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Eddie over there did a great job and I recommend him to anyone who's looking for tint work.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well I had to take tint off my front 2 windows to pass inspection and had them redone by Auto-Creations in Raritan, NJ. Eddie over there did a great job and I recommend him to anyone who's looking for tint work.
Anyway, took a few pics...hope everyone enjoys. The tint is 50% all around.
Now that's a nice looking car. You needed to remove a 50% tint for inspection? Wow. it does't look dark enogh to cause problems at inspection. Weird.
How much did the job cost?
FYI - tinting is usually pretty inexpensive. There is a very reputable shop near my office in Sherman Oaks, CA that only does tinting. I think they did my S500 for $180 and his quote for a Porsche was much lower than that. And this guy is a little higher than average for LA prices because he has such a strong reputation.
Thanks for the kind words guys.
Yeah over in NJ you won't pass if you have any degree of tint on your windows. It was $40 to take the 2 off and then $70 to redo them.
I think the shop normally charges around $200-230 for the car which is pretty normal around here. Plus Eddie has done other Porsches and Ferraris before so the quality of work is good.
I know in some other states, tint jobs can be had for $100-150.
It's a thin film that goes on the inside of the window. Normally comes in 50%, 35%, 20%, and 5%. Those numbers state the % of light that transmits through although I have also heard of people stating %s as the amount of light blocked.
I see a lot of tinted cars here in the Bay Area and in SoCal. Frankly, I hate black cars with a deep tint. Just the "mafia" look on them. Tint seems to looks the best on clean white cars
