Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hello fellow clubsters, It's probably somewhere on this site but I could not find it. I have a strange issue with the 08CS windows as follows: - If the window is all the way down and I open the door, the window comes up about a 1/4 inch. - When I close the door, it goes back down. - Once, I'm not sure of the reason, it would not come back down when I closed the door. I used the window lever to move it back down. Anyone have any input on this as to why this is happening? Cheers!

POST 2Original post

It is quite normal, it is the door 'anti rattle function'. By coming up a 1/4 of an inch it prevents the glass rattling in the door when you slam the door shut. Strange but true.

POST 4Original post

... or is it a byproduct of the "window up" function when you close the door related to high speed (?) -- maybe both ...
