Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Tried convincing myself that they'd "done it properly this time" over the following two weeks only to end up taking it to my local indi who stated that the O/S rear was over 1 degree out on camber and that the bolts to adjust the camber hadn't been moved for what looked like "a number of years..."
Leading evidence: 'Install 3' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Adjust camber hadn't been moved' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

plus they're great guys......(i'm a customer not part of the company!) ..... its where mines going for its clutch when it finally gives in :drive:
sorry cant name and shame as i run a business myself and would not take kindly too it, however they have lost my business again for the second time and i have had the work carried out while i have been on holiday at a different garage. i saved a fortune and they have sorted a few other bits out for me too.
thanks guys
...and any indi will do it for less than that and do a better job.
Harsh...? I think not. I recently took my C2 3.6 to my local OPC for a four wheel alignment. Twice. The first time they set it up for a GT2 - which was nice of them but unfortunately completely the wrong car.
Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back there to get it re-done. Tried convincing myself that they'd "done it properly this time" over the following two weeks only to end up taking it to my local indi who stated that the O/S rear was over 1 degree out on camber and that the bolts to adjust the camber hadn't been moved for what looked like "a number of years..."
This was a VERY awkward situation as this particular indi picks up all the four wheel alignments that the same OPC "...can't cope with".
Seeing TWO twelve stone guys hanging off the wrench that was on the O/S bolts convinced me that something wasn't quite right and prompted me to ask the question about how long it'd been since the bolts had been moved.
OPC: See: Criminals in suits.
I know that some are better than others but they're all generally desperate for revenue and it just makes me feel so sorry for the average 911/Boxter owner who never visits site like this or who just don't know any better.
You know what to do.
