At the moment I have the OEM Bosch fitted but they're about due for replacing.

I will be reverting back to standard style shortly and I shall probably get OEM spec ones or the PIAA ones as recommended by others.

Can anyone recommend a decent set of replacement blades?

You could save a bit of money and just replace the rubber inserts.

When I was searching I found that link to the Bosch set on wiperblades.co.uk and that was my reference point for the OEM price.

You can use the new aero-type blades but at the time I was searching I wasn't able to find a passenger side blade that was curved (similar to OEM), for better contact.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Can anyone recommend a decent set of replacement blades? At the moment I have the OEM Bosch fitted but they're about due for replacing.
I've been looking on eBay and there are plenty of flat blade options similar to the Bosch Aero's, ranging from £10 upwards. Too much choice so I'd welcome some recommendations.
I've tried the flat style blades, actually twice from different suppliers and I have to say I am very underwhelmed. I had them OEM on my Audi TT and they were excellent but the replacement ones that you can get for the 996 are actually quite poor.

I ended up picking up the ones from OPC, both for £25. I know they use "Bosch" ones - Checked out Halfords price before hand and there was no savings.
In anycase, I would personally stick to Bosch blades, known quality from their blades and there is a world of difference between the cheaper variations.
All IMHO... Let us know what you go for and also how you find them compared to the Bosch OEM.
You could save a bit of money and just replace the rubber inserts. I bought the rubber inserts from this chap...

I never thought this would be such a difficult choice.
There are plenty of aero style blades on eBay for around £10 but I believe that in most cases you get what you pay for.
Lloyd, tempted by the Valeo's, best price I've seen is around £25 for the pair which is on par with the Bosch OEM's. Where did you source yours?
Cheers! Andrew Page are 2 mins from where I'm sat, their parts distribution vans are a common obstacle round here
Newcastle and Sunderland arn't too far, however does £25 for a pair sounds reasonable? If so I may just order them online.
Hmm... price seems ok now I have looked into it.
The following part numbers are for the correct Valeo ones, they are curved due to the shape of the screen.
Drivers side - with spoiler - VM107 - £10.95 + vat
Passenger side - no spoiler - VM29 - £9.95 + vat
Andrew Page should be able to get them
Have you seen these:

Lloyd, very much appreciated.

I'll nip next door to Andrew Page and get my order in for the Valeo's, thanks again.
Should be a V55 (normal, flat 22") for the rear... normally about £6
* BUT *
I always put the passenger side front onto the back, does the job fine.
