This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I have (on my BMW's) changed the manual trans fluid to Redline synthetic with great results. I can't find the proper weight fluid for my 02 Targa. What weight should be used and has anyone else put in the Redline synthetic? Thanks Frank

POST 5Original post

Per Porsche TSB 3702 Approved Engine Oils -- dated 7-26-2002 ... and Mobilube 75W-90 SHC (sold in the US) or Mobilube 75W-90 PTX (sold in Europe) are both synthetic. "Transmission oil SAE 75W-90 for manual transmission, front-axle drive (C4), and rear axle final drive (Tiptronic transmission) as shown."

POST 7Original post

It's not clear that Mobilube SHC is the same as Mobilube PTX.
