Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Made deal tonight. Pick up car on Friday. this is the only pic I have:

POST 3Original post

Had failed engine in Cayman. Replaced by Porsche but then warranty was almost up. Just lost my comfort level. This car has only 9000 km with a CPO warranty.

POST 5Original post

Yep, nice 4s for sure. Did the same some time back and for me it was a nice upgrade. Enjoy.

POST 6Original post

A beautiful color combination and a cab too!

Different driving sensation being pulled throught the turns and less loading up of the front end. I almost bought a 2007 TT with 3,000 miles and warranty but for me the 4 wheel gave a different feel that was not as much fun as the mid engine. But, that is my personal prererencel and regardless, beautiful car and I can understand the bit of a loss in confidence with the blown engine experience.

Also went from 2006 cayman s to a 2009 C2. Different and I really enjoy the 997.2 but I also loved my cayman. Enjoy the ride. http://www.planet-9.com/images/smilies/banana.gif

POST 10Original post

But would you go back? You don't read to many stories of people going the other way.

POST 11Original post

For me, both cars offer so much but in different areas. For every great aspect the Cayman has, the 911 has one also. Could I go back, absolutely, will I go back probably not anytime soon. Why? Cayman definitely needs more power for the price. It doesn't need to match the 991, but should have at least 350/360HP to even have me interested again.

POST 12Original post

I like the 997 better. Maybe just getting old but the creature comforts are nice. As is the extra power.

POST 14Original post

Great car, grats! I own a 2010 Targa 4S with all the goodies, upgrading soon with AWE Tuning Crossover pipes and GIAC software. Enjoy your new ride! Regards Morten Steen Sent from my iPhone via Tapatalk
