Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Does anyone have any advice on restoring Porsche seats or recovering.
The seats are not the worst I have seen but at 18 years old they are a bid tired and the usual bolster and side creasing etc. They are crested seats.
As always any help advice and guidance appreciated.
Cheers

More from me i'm afraid
I was at a Porsche car show last year, and a perspective buyer was trying to convert her to his way of thinking and splash out on a Porsche. Whilst she liked
the 996 she was looking at, she commented that the inside didnt look very "special".I'm guessing bland.
My interior to match the Artic Silver is all black.
I then noticed an older 911 with the black leather bolsters but pepita houndstooth centre panels...which i thought looked great.
So for this last winter, my new project was to retrofit heated seats..useful in a Targa...and see if I could get the houndstooth cloth.
I was lucky that Porsche did exactly that with the 50th anniversary cars..so I was able to track down the material in Germany.
Here is a few piccys of the work
looks great. Not for me though. I love the little switch panel. hadn't thought about using that piece of plastic for anything. Hmmmmm.
Here is the current state of the seats. I had Hardback body colour sports seats in my 997 which I loved.
Various bits of damage, from I guess keys, cufflinks, watches and 18 years of use etc.etc.
Cheers

Doesn't look that bad that a good scuffmaster kit wouldn't sort out
Had some great results on my car and previous cars with it :thumb:
Happy to post a few pics if interested in seeing the results
Had quite a big scuff on mine when I got it
And the afters
the scuff was a little deeper than i thought so you can if you inspect closely make out a little depression in the leather
but i'll build that up with another coat next week  (and thats a rain drop you can see on the seats not a blob of leather dye lol)
but im happy with the results
@996lee
That is a bewildering array of stuff on the website for the scuffmaster. What kit did you buy for the Porsche black leather seats?
Cheers

I got it from bespoke leathering
The guy that owns it was on some of the BMW forums and did forum discount for all the members so worth a try ;-)
He has done some of the work for the car sos show when they've had interiors restored
