Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

i only mention it as i've seen it in the past where it wasn't swapped over ..

My old stuff was all C4 but I'm using GT3 PSS9 now so I needed to buy the lot.

I've never had any dealing with changing bearing before so not 100% on what I'm looking at.

Will that work - I think he's changing from C4 suspension to C2?

I know everyone says they don't need changing - however I was chasing a clonk from somewhere at the top of the strut, so for the sake of £40 (cant find the receipt at the mo, but it wasn't much money) I changed mine while I had it all apart.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Magic thanks chaps. Another quick one. I've just had the strut tops delivered by ECP, I've opened up the boxes for a spy, would I be correct in saying that these have the bearings with them. I've never had any dealing with changing bearing before so not 100% on what I'm looking at.
My old stuff was all C4 but I'm using GT3 PSS9 now so I needed to buy the lot.
Here is a picture of what I believe is the bearing, it is separate from the top mount but cam I'm the same box. It certainly looks like it's the bearing.
There is a rubber disc that can be forgotten .. i only mention it as i've seen it in the past where it wasn't swapped over .. its the rubber disc the spring presses against so there should be one regardless i would have thought and i didnt see it in the picture .
If not then just ignore my ramblings ..being stuck at home is affecting me badly ..
Im forgetting what an engine looks like atm !!!
That is a good shout.....I managed to forget to move that over when I initially put mine together. Thankfully I spotted it before I did any damage to the bearing.
When I bought my top mounts, they didn't come with the bearings, I bought these separately. I know everyone says they don't need changing - however I was chasing a clonk from somewhere at the top of the strut, so for the sake of £40 (cant find the receipt at the mo, but it wasn't much money) I changed mine while I had it all apart.
