Would I be correct in saying the back will fit but the front possibly won't, I've removed everything for the 4wd system but I'm still using the C4 hubs with the stub axles in.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T201111Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Given the car is going be sitting about for quite a while I'm going to tackle the suspension on it. I've got a C4 that I've converted to RWD, I've come across a set of GT3 coilovers for sale and I'm thinking they would be ideal for what I have. Would I be correct in saying the back will fit but the front possibly won't, I've removed everything for the 4wd system but I'm still using the C4 hubs with the stub axles in.

POST 2Original post

You are correct. C2 uprights are cheap though, so get a pair and fit those. Same as on some boxsters. MC

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Perfect MC thanks for that. I've contacted the seller for the spring rates I'm still waiting on the front Rears are ERS H 170-60-0150 Eibach springs in PSS9 coil overs. Having had a look I make it these are 150NM rear springs. Too hard ?

POST 4Original post

That seems VERY hard. My Ohlins are 120NM and that is too hard for road use. 90NM seems a good setting with 60NM for a comfort ride. For reference, the M030 is 53NM GT3 RS is 80NM Mike

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I thought that myself, I had a read of the suspension article that you took part in and figured from there 150 seemed excessive. The set up I just bought originally came off a GT3, would that make sense, are they harder sprung, I've also got a front lift kit with this set up. Made by cargraphic, is this worth connecting up
