Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

Whilst I am sure there is a difference between 299/300 and 330, there is no difference rbetween 299 and 300 regardless of how they are packaged.

No unique explicit quoted action; no causal link assigned

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seems to be two different disc sizes offered for my 2000 C4 - 299mm and 330mm. Without wheel off and measuring, any easy way to know what size I need?

POST 2Original post

Put your registration in on Euro Car Parts web site and see what rear discs are recommended and then check specification for sizes. Just done same for my 1999 C4 and only option is 299mms diameter. Possibly larger option is for the 996.2 3.6 cars?

POST 3Original post

I would have thought they would be 300mm. Measure to be certain though. MC

POST 4Original post

I believe the 330 are for the C4S - the wide bodied cars, and possiblt thr turbo as well.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all. Putting reg into parts sites gives both options for some reason.
