Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello I wanted to know if you guys could help me out? I wanted to know if a 996TT H&R coilover kit would work on a 2002 996 C4S? Any information would be helpful. Thanks

POST 2Original post

They have the same part #, but the turbo number ends in -2 while the C4S ends in -1. I believe that the suspension will fit, but the spring rates are different for the turbo since it weighs more.

POST 4Original post

POST 5Original post

Tire Rack... remember, you get what you pay for

POST 7Original post

POST 10Original post

I've got H&R coilovers and love them. My car is a daily drive with the random DE once or twice per year (hope to do more next year). They are very adjustable and they do work well on the street. The PO actaully installed them and when i bought the car it was slammed (low). I raised the ride hight to approx. Euro ride hight to keep from rubbing the front bumper when i pulled in the driveway.
