Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

I believe it is to get the most performance out of the tip the SC changes the shift maps to be sportier, exactly in what ways I do not know as I never considered a tip so I didn't investigate any further.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Rather than asking all the questions in one topic, I thought I would ask each of my questions in separate topics so that future searches would not be complicated. I saw it suggested on a previous posting that the Sport Chrono feature is essential if one gets a Tip. Can someone explain exactly why?

POST 2Original post

I believe it is to get the most performance out of the tip the SC changes the shift maps to be sportier, exactly in what ways I do not know as I never considered a tip so I didn't investigate any further.

POST 3Original post

Unfortunately, I don't have a choice here: I never learned to drive stick, am too set in my ways to learn now, and no one I know will offer to let me destroy their clutch.

POST 4Original post

Then get SC, not only for the auto remapping that it does but the other features as well, unless you simply don't like it.

POST 5Original post

Looks like I found my own answers... The info I needed is in the Product Information that you have put up for download. That's great!!! Thanks!

POST 6Original post

After a few days of research, I would like to gather all the info. I found: 1)Improve in throttle response 2) Later kick in of PSM 3)Harder rev limter at 'D' with Sport mode on 4) Do not upshift automatically at 'M' whenthe revreach the redline in Sport mode. It will cut the gas only 5) If you have PASM, it will lower the suspension 10mmm and become stifferr at Sport mode

POST 7Original post

Remember PASM is a permanent 10mm lower, it does NOT raise and lower the car.
