Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Might be a bit too far for you, but Specialised Paintwork, behind Porsche Reading, quite often have exchange wheels in stock. My brother exchanged his Sport Classic split rims there, and they were superbly refurbished.
Not used them yet, but I think I am going to. They have been recommended by Dave. I'm sure he'll be along with comments
Here's the details:
Wheel Works in Crawley

Where abouts do you live?
I'm in West Sussex and am thinking of taking mine to Wheelworks, I've emailed them for a quote but haven't heard anything back in 4 days so far, lets hope their work is better than their website response!
They are good guys, used a couple of times now.
Just go down there, figure £50-60 'ish a wheel and they will sort you out.
Previously "wicked wheels" I think.
Lepson's did my Mk2 GT3 wheels, and they also do the Mk1.
They did a brilliant job. 100% pleased.
I took the car there and left it with them for 3 days while they did the job; much easier than getting the wheels off, car left on jacks etc etc etc. My car was kept indoors for the 3 days and well looked-after. Mine were £75 oer wheel, and I think they charge a little more for the split-rim Mk1

Wicked wheels have got back to me this morning, £95 + vat (109.25) per wheel, 2 days for the split rim bbs sports design wheels. Perhaps if anyone in West Sussex is interested in a Forum Group buy, I'll ask to see if they can do us all a better deal. I'm planning on having my outer rims powder coated this time as I'm sick of the polished/clear coat blooming up & going cloudy within 2 years. I'd rather it lasted than looked original I'm afraid.
Well, you, me & AdamW make 3, if we can have a couple more join us I'll give them a call. Cash discount? You wouldn't be insinuating that anyone in the motor trade might deal off the books so to speak would you? :judge:
I have to say, I'm in luxury retail and I haven't seen so much cash being used in years, sign of the times I'm afraid, people needing to net as much as possible without paying the tax.
Sorry, only just seen this. That's also what I was quoted.
Definitely got to get my wheels done but was going to wait until maybe the New Year.
However if there is a group buy going on & discounts involved could well be persuaded to get it done sooner
I too am doing away with the lacquered edging and also possibly thinking about having the centres coated dark grey or black 8)
Let me know if any discount can be offered.
Cheers :thumb:
