Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, what are the ideal offsets F/R for 18" wheels for a 2002 996 C2?

POST 4Original post

8 x 18" ET 50 front, 10 x 18" ET 65 rear Proper tire sizes for these wheels are: - 225/40 ZR 18 front - 285/30 ZR 18 rear __________________

POST 5Original post

there are 11" wheels that will fit. You may need to slightly alter the inner fender lip. There is a factory sheet on the modification. The offset is critical. I run 19"x11" rear BBS wheels on my 2004 C2. I will say that If I were to do it again, I would go for the 10". I think the rears overwhelm the front a bit in the fast turns. Paul
