Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Not particularly fussed on spec; a few nice-to-haves are missing but I'm more focused on getting a clean car, to be honest.

Phil Raby is inspecting for me on Monday so fingers crossed.

Maybe they are using some minor lender, but I would be surprised if they can offer those rates if they are
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

996TT 2000(X) 28k miles, 3 owner, FPSH for £29995. Nice looking car, sounds clean. Lightish spec - no PDC or PCM but does have a sunroof. Not particularly fussed on spec; a few nice-to-haves are missing but I'm more focused on getting a clean car, to be honest.

Any thoughts from our resident cognoscenti?
Very similar spec to the one I'm in the process of buying (except mines a Tiptronic)... Be aware lots of people don't like grey interiors if you are planning to sell it on again, but it's not going to make a huge difference to a sub-£30,000 Turbo I wouldn't have thought (just might take a little longer to find a buyer).
Mine's grey interior as well, so I'm clearly not bothered either! :thumb: (I actually much prefer light interiors, although I'm tempted to buy a Carbon Fibre steering wheel like I had in my C4).
If you are hoping to take up their finance offer, I would make sure it actually exists before you press the button: I couldn't find anyone that would offer a 5-year deal on my 8 year-old 996TT as it would be 'too old' at the end of the agreement. Maybe they are using some minor lender, but I would be surprised if they can offer those rates if they are
Thanks Wattie... I actually prefer grey leather as black looks too gloomy (and can show up as pretty grubby on a nearly 10 year motor). Both I and the boss indoors like the seal gray paint (although, amazingly, she prefers guards red!)
I'll admit to being very slightly put off by the fact is has no bodykit, pipes or spoiler changes but in retrospect it may mean it hasn't been owned by someone who's likely to have ragged it (straw clutching?)
Fortunately the finance offer isn't needed from them, although I might think about taking out a bit of finance on the thing in six months or so, depending on circumstances.
Seal grey is a nice colour and very few people actually object to it, so it's good news come re-sale time. Personally, I prefer the factory original look on a Turbo and the ones I've seen with aerokits and stuff have looked a bit chavvy to me.
So what happened Wattie? Withdrawal symptoms? A 996T work out cheaper than sessions at The Priory?
I know you haven't reall been away, but welcome back and let's see the pics soon.
I need to spend some time in the bar. I'm missing out on all the gossip. That video of ResB's cracked me up! Genius. Welcome to the world of spaz-tronics too!
That's a beauty, Wattie...
The three colours I was interested in were Seal Grey, Basalt Black and that blue. Stunning.
Glad you got your finance sorted in the end! Luckily I'm not having to go down that route, although it sounds like my plan to possibly raise some finance against it in the future might be scuppered!
sorry to hijack thread but been meaning to say it for ages! Love your avatar Wattie - first time I saw it I tried to swot the bloody thing off me puter
