Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

(Preface - I did research a bit and initially concluded that there are no front, center jack points unlike 986s, aside from factory jack points per manual) After getting a new set of tires, got an alignment from a specialist (apparently he does a lot of track cars - I personally do not). As he let me watch throughout the process, he proceeded to lift the front end from his rack and I was surprised as I didn't think 987's had front jack points (aside from the side rail, factory points). When I asked, "how did you know that was the jack point" and he said "we do alot of Porsches so we know." When I asked whether I can use that area as my front jack point(s), he said I need to have a jack with a larger square / rectangular pad to be safe. Just to be 110% safe, I will use the rear jack points for the front but thought I can run this by this group. On a side note, not sure this red circled area (the last picture) is some kind of leak, if so, most likely washer fluids?? Thank you in advance for your feedback.
