I will be installing Fabspeed headers soon but have been unable to find what torque values to use when bolting the header to the block.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I will be installing Fabspeed headers soon but have been unable to find what torque values to use when bolting the header to the block. Thanks for any help,

POST 2Original post

I am going to sleep, but I think in the Tech forum you will find the answer. Search for torque values. One thread with all different torque values.

POST 3Original post

Before I posted, I searched this forum (tech forum) and then across all forums. I looked through files and then every article that remotely looked like a header install was involved. If they are in here somewhere, they need to be "stickied".

POST 5Original post

Its still on teh first page, just 10 or so posts below: http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-boxster-tech/31341-torque-wench-setting-q.html#post346533 Now, its completely misspelled. K-Man or moderator, any way to change the title and make it sticky? I guess we would need to kill the OT posts too....

POST 6Original post

Thanks Tomasz! I wasn't searching for a "Wench". Well, not this time at least... :hilarious:
