Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Rich, Sorry to hear that your Porker is not well. Hope you sort it out soon. Cheers Steve

POST 2Original post

Use Porsche Assist. They were at my house within 2 hours when I had a "similar" problem. Admission of stupdity time... A few months ago I had a flat battery on my car. This was caused by a passenger (of the kermit the frog variety) leaving their brolly in the passenger footwell next to the door. Unfortunately when the door was closed the brolly rested on the seat movement switch which works even without the key in the ignition. Accordingly 3 days later I had a flat battery. Stupity of my passenger admitted on this public forum so as not to give the Tiv boys more ammo about porsche and unreliablity. cheers DAZ PS - Let us know what the cause is/was please. Oh and happy new year and can you make VW on 2nd feb? I owe you a few pints/drinks for picture hosting.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have had a few electrical quirks for weeks and kept meaning to pop to dealer. Doh! had a battery generator warning light pop up a couple of days ago and bingo.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My Turbo doesnt want to start at the moment, looks like an electrical problemo. Life is so unfair...
