Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have a 2003 cab purchased from a dealer who said the radio code was in the glove box. When I looked and said I didnt get it, he said he would get it. Now when I ask he says he checked and found I didnt need one because it is saved in memory or something. This sounds suspicious. Anyone else know about this?

POST 2Original post

Your 03 radio is matched to your car. Remove it and put it elsewhere (some other car) and it won't work. If you repace the battery or disconnect the battery, all you have to do is re-connect it and the radio will work.... So all is well!

POST 3Original post

Thegman is correct! The code is in the MOST system.
