Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I've been lurking on these forums the past couple years but finally found something that no one has asked. One of my rear license plate lights is out and it's not the bulb. I dropped down the light assembly but for the life of me, I couldn't disconnect the light from the harness. Reviewing the LED installation guide from Suncoast , it looks like you press up and then out to disconnect it. I tried for an hour or so but it didn't budge. Does anyone have any tips or pictures showing exactly how to remove it? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

hope this video helps.... from Del Ray Customs...

POST 3Original post

Helpful video. Thanks. But wow, those lights are overpriced from Del Ray Customs. The exact same lights seem to be available from multiple Ebay sellers for under $20 (compared to the $80 to $129 Del Ray Customs is charging).

POST 4Original post

Thanks for the video! Not sure how I missed that while searching

POST 5Original post

would love to see some pictures of your new lights in return!

POST 6Original post

Haha, I actually just needed help to diagnose an issue I was having with one bulb being out. I ended up getting it checked out and they found some corrosion on the light harness in the rear that was causing the outage.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
