Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

real quick question! 2002 C4 with standard brakes / suspension etc. 318mm or 330mm front discs? I can't find a definitive answer and I find both sizes listed for my vehicle. I tried to measure mine on the car but got frustrated as I don't have the proper tools here and got a different measurement every time!! :nooo:

POST 2Original post

Brembo app on my phone says 318mm for 3.4 330mm for 3.6

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does the Brembo app list the same discs for the Turbo too? This is the same as every headlight bulb look up is wrong for the 996.2 too! Thanks for looking though. The Pagid and Mintex "brakebppk" list 330mm as well :?:

POST 4Original post

318 for both, 330 are the Turbo & C4S I think: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pagid-Fr...Set-PORSCHE-911-3-6-Petrol-12-01/333490933747

POST 5Original post

3.4 318 Everything else 330 according to the app

POST 6Original post

Only the Turbo and C4S have bigger discs. Standard carrera are same for both Gens.

POST 7Original post

Download the Brembo app, it says otherwise. You are wrong, and frankly a menace to society. I'd like to point out that the two points above are not mutually connected or necessarily true. Well the bit about the brakes is true according to them.

POST 8Original post

Frank - I might be a few things but I'm never wromg!

POST 9Original post

Brembo are calling you a liar and wrong. I was wrong once I thought I was wrong, but turned out I was right.

POST 10Original post

If Bremo were German I'd believe them but they're Italian  I'm starting to see a pattern here

POST 11Original post

The next step in comments will result in a ban from the Mod Squad. As I'm approaching my 4000th birthday with zero bans, I'm tapping out. :floor: :floor: :floor:

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for your responses! In related news, Eurocarparts are selling the Mintex 318mm discs for £14.99 a side inc VAT Which is as cheap as chips!! So I bought a pair for the future

POST 14Original post

Nice one. Just went and bought some too. Mine is a 3.6 but pretty sure they are 318mm. To cold to go out and measure but hardly a gamble at £30.

POST 15Original post

Indeed, astonishing value at ECP - just ordered 4 Mintex discs, Pagid pads front and rear, and a front set of vibration dampers - all delivered for the princely sum of £228. Get 'em while they're hot !
