Apparently, the Chinese-manufactured ISO connector terminals sold on eBay don't fit the Porsche ISO connectors (they look similar to the picture included here, but they're not as robust). The Chinese connectors are too large in circumference to fit the body of the OEM Porsche connector. Why I'm asking about this? > The '06 Cayman's female Power (A) connector -- the black connector , not the red one that houses the speaker wires -- does not include an accommodation for wheel speed signal (often called "VSS"), and I'm determined to also add constant and switched power from elsewhere within the car's wiring harness (that's not dependent on CANN/MOST HUR) -- I've already run all these wires to the stereo bay. The Chinese terminals are frail , too...they deform quite easily and don't appear have enough 'springiness' to maintain pressure on the male pins, the way the OEM Porsche terminals do. So.... does anyone know of a US domestic source for good quality ISO female terminals ?

On Amazon you can buy the Metra 71-1784 for a few bucks and save the headache. A small paper clip makes easy removal of any terminals you need to remove. If you also buy the 70-1784 you can make a custom extension cord that allows you some flexibility as well. Good luck. -Mike
