Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The short answer is nothing as long as you are running with the rec'd wheel size and offset that PAG lists in the manual.

I assume you are using a 2nd set of wheels for the winter tires?

So you are going to use the factory GT3 wheels correct?
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am putting winter wheels on my GT3 (yes I just can't bear putting it away for the winter and if it rusts it rusts).
The offsets on my wheels are:
Summer: F 235/40 40mm offset
R 295/30 63mm offset
Winter: F 225/40 50mm offset
R 265/35 65mm offset
When I add the winter set what adjustments should I make for the offsets?
Confused
David
Crap. Brain fart. You are referring to the GT3 correct? I just saw (after re-reading your post) that you are talking about the GT3. I just assumed and scanned over your post when I was cruising the 996 forum. Sorry.
But to answer your question. Just need a quick piece of info. What size are the wheels you want to use? I assume you are using a 2nd set of wheels for the winter tires?
So you are going to use the factory GT3 wheels correct? The tire sizes and offsets for the winter tires are listed based on the C2 wheels which are fitted with 8" et50 fronts and 10" et65 rears with corresponding rubber.
Sorry, what confused me is that you are asking what adjustments you need to make with the new winter wheels. The short answer is nothing as long as you are running with the rec'd wheel size and offset that PAG lists in the manual. However, with those sizes and offsets the wheels will sit "in" about 15mm which is probably good so as to protect the paint from debris kicking up.
I'll drive the GT3 through the winter as long as the roads are clean and clean. The CAB will pull daily driver duty for the wife and we'll install the hartop for the winter. On those ugly days the Cayenne will be the choice of ride.
Glad to hear the will are working great. Are they a bit further in than the summer wheels? Can to post any pics what the offsets looks like on the car? Just might be what I need to do as well.
Cheers,
