Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

In fact, I believe that most of the Chesepeake guys run with Potomac.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey Guys,
As you can see, I've been posting for a little while but never got around to getting pictures of my car (new to me). I believe the previous owner was also a rennlister but I figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm Pete, I recently (a few months ago) purchased a 99 996 C2. It has all of the standard goodies, MK I Aero, PSS9's, GT3 3rd radiator, LSD, Sport seats, 18inch wheels, GT3 control arms, GT3 sways etc...
So far, I love the car and I constantly look for excuses to take it for a spin. I'm an old BMW enthusiast but came across this car and couldn't pass up a chance at my dream car. The pictures are not me being reckless, but are from autocrosses and a street survival class that I help run and teach.
I hope to get this car out at Summit Point next year but something tells me that I'll be a bit more conservative with this car than my old E36.
I'm looking forward to learning more about this fantastic car.
Hope pictures came out ok. I'm not very good at this.
Pete
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. This car is so much fun but so different than my E36 handling wise.
I can't wait until next year to get to learn how to drive it faster.
TD- I live in Rockville, MD. I haven't joined the PCA but will do so over the winter. I was told to go to the Chesepeake region as it is a bit more laid back. Is this true?
Pete
Both Potomac and Chesepeake are awesome. In fact, I believe that most of the Chesepeake guys run with Potomac.
I have really never had anything but good experiences with all of the PCA groups with which I have run. I have tons of friends at Potomac. BTW, Potomac and Chesepeake both have top notch instructors and drivers . . . so it is a GREAT place to learn.

and introduce yourself (I am not affiliated). It is a local board.
I am from Timonium, MD I was also thinking about joining PCA Chesapeake.. I attended a meeting in Hunt Valley (Fall Tour to Friendly Farms) and it was very cool.. I am not a member yet.. I am still thinking about it....
Welcome. Congrates on the great car.
It is hard to determine from the pictures but it doesn't look like the factory MKI front bumper cover. Instead it looks like a lip was added to the stock and/or MKI front bumper cover. It looks to me that it protrudes more outward towards the front of the car than the factory MKI. Nevertheless, I agree it looks good with the MKII sideskirts.
I stand corrected. The color and/or the angle of the picture makes it look more radical and/or protruding than the pictures of the MKI in silverand lighter colors.
