Hello I have a 2009 boxster s with pcm 3.0 and Bluetooth telephone module. I haven't put on any sim card, just using bluetooth pairing with my Samsung galaxy S7 edge. The problem is, I believe, that using rsap for connection I cannot use the 3g/4g mobile data from the phone. How can I still have data connection on my phone? One more thing: can I use bluetooth streaming for the music in my phone? Thanks

PCM3 on 987.2 don't have bluetooth data streaming capability, only phone pairing for calls. Bluetooth streaming only started with 981 PCM . I believe the same thing applies to the sim card (I'm in the US, so not sure about Europe), but the sim card slot in PCM3.0 for 987.2 in USA is only for phone calls, no data.

A new question: I have a 2009 Boxster S with PCM 3.0 and Bluetooth. I gave an iPhone 6 paired via Bluetooth. I can make outgoing calls perfectly. However, when u answer an incoming call, the PCM takes the call, but seems to not transmit any audio. That is, I can answer the call, but can't hear anything, and the other person can't hear anything from me. It does stop the radio/ ipod /CD from playing. The only thing that seems to work is to end the call, and then call the other person back. Has anyone else encountered this? Any solution or suggestions?
