Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I just got a new Samsung S7 Edge and it's not transferring the phonebook in the same way my old Lumia did. The SIM contacts transfer (all 10 of them) but the main memory contacts don't download. I've checked the Phonebook settings and confirmed that both SIM and internal memory options are ticked. Fiddling with these makes no difference. I have a 2010 Cayman 987.2 with PCM 3.0 and software v2.25. Is this the latest? Does anyone else have this config working?

POST 2Original post

My S7 Edge works fine with the 987 PCM and Dension 500, and also works fine with the 981 and PCM whatever the current flavor is, I'm surprised that something in between has problems. Hopefully someone with your same setup can chime in.

POST 3Original post

did you try deleting the device from the PCM and re-pairing it?

POST 4Original post

Yes i have fully deleted the pairing and redone it several times

POST 5Original post

Also I should add I don't have any contacts on my Sim card if that makes a difference. Sent from my SAMSUNG -SM-G935A using Tapatalk

POST 6Original post

I have just received my S7 Edge and have the same problem, tried resetting the phone to factory as well as the usual deleting pairing information from both sides etc. but nothing works. If I use the phone in 'standard' Bluetooth mode (A2DP) it transfers my SIM contacts (which is actually only my own number, but it does transfer it) but nothing else, whereas if I use it in rSAP mode as I'd like to nothing transfers, not even the one SIM contact. Has anyone got this combination working?

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
