Can the loom side of the headlight plugs be replaced without replacing the loom? Some kind sole has snapped the surround off of the plugs on my car, although it still plugs in, it has to be done by hand (bracket on headlight receiver also broke :evil: ). Im hoping the plug can be replaced, as its the N/S which has the larger loom in and is a pain to remove.

Hi mate, is this the early or later spec plugs (blue or white?) Either way yes you can unpin the current plug and repin the new one, i bought a full set of depinning tools from ebay for about £4 and it does the job perfectly. The issue comes depending on the age of your car / type of headlight plug. Early ones can be bought for about £5 from the dealer, white ones you need to get creative. Ive just gone down the white plug route so if thats the case let me know and ill tell you what i did.

Its an early one, blue plug from a 2000 car. Any idea what tools i would need? I will see if i can dig a part number out for the plug.
