Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi there, I just received an email from the store where I bought some wheel center caps stating they are releasing the North America Maps DVD for PCM 2.1 Porsche PCM Navi map update north america USA CANADA BRASIL MEXICO HAWAII PUERTO RICO When I ordered the center caps I saw they offered the European maps at that time, but as I mentioned, seems now they are offering the USA version (& Mexico, Canada, Brasil...) I´m happy with the purchase I made in that store before and my PCM version is 2.1b, so I guess it should be plug&play, but... How can they sell something that retails $300 for a fraction of the price? Has anyone bought a DVD map outside "porsche"?

POST 2Original post

Just ordered it. Will report when it shows up and installs.

It's pirated software, that's how. Which doesn't mean it won't look authentic and work perfectly. Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is where I bought my last update in February. It was for the 2014 version which was the latest at the time. I paid $130. They are located in Bosnia You know it's got to be pirated. It works though, plug & play. Don't know how much it really is updated over the previous Porsche versions though. Car DVD Navigation Maps & Navigation Units

Thanks! It looks then $89 for the current year is a great deal, I'm ordering it right now!

POST 7Original post

I have two questions. 1) Why would anyone knowingly buy pirated software? I see no distinction between buying stolen softare and a stolen car. 2) Why would anyone buying pirated software openly admit it on a public forum?

POST 8Original post

Climarepair is selling it as a backup copy, which I know it's legal to have if you own the original CD/DVD (at least in some countries in Europe it is legal to have a back up copy). Whether or not you have the original CD is up to you...
