It appears to have the dealer turn on the DRL (day time running lights) for US cars it also turns on all the other lights the same is true if you have the option that allows you to program it on yourself.

I have read the other threads regarding this. It appears to have the dealer turn on the DRL (day time running lights) for US cars it also turns on all the other lights the same is true if you have the option that allows you to program it on yourself. I know my 03 boxster you could jump 2 fuses and have only the front headlights go on. Now that there are more Caymans out there has anyone come up with a way to have ONLY THE FRONT headlights come on when starting up????? Perhaps a fuse jump etc.

I didn't like the headlights and parking lights coming on in daytime running light mode. I solved the problem by removing the parking light bulb. With DRL on you don't need the parking lights.
