Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used new brackets too because I'm sad like that!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

To anybody who has fitted these. They don't appear to line up well with the centre bracket which bolts to the engine carrier. As both sides are joined together and so better supported, do you just leave that bracket off? I can't see any pictures with the bracket attached anywhere. MC

POST 2Original post

I have these and found they fitted fine and I've attached them to a new back bracket.

POST 3Original post

I used new brackets too because I'm sad like that!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hmm. I've only got the manifolds on at the moment. I might put the whole lot together and not tighten anything up to see how it fits. The pipe seemed to want to sit slightly lower than it should. MC

POST 5Original post

I'm no Porsche mechanic but I bolted the manifolds up firm but not tight, then started building the rest of the system up lose and it all went together ok which shocked me in all honesty, Toyo manifolds, top gear cats and milltek boxes. I was expecting some trimming or modifying.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It will fit properly, It just doesn't know it yet  MC

POST 7Original post

That's the spirit!!! A large dose of persuasion!!

POST 8Original post

size 10 engineering hammer sorts most issues I have found   :thumb:

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All dropped in place, still not lining up with the brackets correctly. I'll call Top Gear and see if they have seen this before before proceeding. MC

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm blaming the manifolds. I had assumed that they were TopGear ones, but they aren't. So I'll source a set of those from TopGear and I bet it will fit lovely then MC

POST 11Original post

Glad to hear your getting to the bottom of the problem mate. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
