Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I am getting very close to making an offer on my first 911. Its a 2002 996 c4s (70kmiles) and from my investigations so far everything looks good ( famous last words ). Just wondering if anyone has some sage advice on anything I should particularly look out for on this model . Any help appreciated. THanks

Welcome to 911uk :thumb: Might be worth considering a pre purchase inspeaction (PPI). It's well worth the extra cash for the peace of mind. Peter Morgan is great. I have used him twice & I know many others on here have too

POST 3Original post

I got my first 911 last week and it's unbelievable Check and check again the history, I rung up the last two places it was serviced and asked about the car and any problems, it turn out to be the managers mates car so he know the car like the back of his hand I even found out how much he traded it in for I think you get a feel when a car is wrong and if it is you walk away there's always another car Andy
