Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need to replace the driver side head lamp washer..... has anyone completed this project and if so what is involved?

POST 2Original post

Pull the old one out and push the new one in. It's that simple.

POST 3Original post

Have someone turn the washers on, and when it is up, grab it. There is a tab (you'll need a small straight-slot screwdriver) that you'll need to lift to get the old one on. Then just slip the new one on. The whole time you will be gripping the base of the washer that will want to go back in it's hole. Once that is done, never use them again. Those things are overpriced, and under-engineered.
