I have not dyno tested other headers but the Milltek headers have consistently produced good results.

we're using that on our own car and as far as I know it's the only one using 200 cell cats, which is really important for avoiding CELs....

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I've tried to extrapolate from the various modified CS dyno runs on various threads which header makes the largest performance gain but I was unsuccessful in determining it. I'm only interested in a US legal header that won't trip the CS' computer (I guess this means that it will have to be a 200 cell). Does anybody know which header makes the most power? Thank you!

POST 2Original post

I have not dyno tested other headers but the Milltek headers have consistently produced good results. I've seen other HP numbers not be as high on other dynos and I've wanted to see if someone can isolate numbers for specific parts. If you read the AWE install article you will see that I isolate HP numbers for the Milltek headers.

POST 3Original post

i have the fabspeed headers with cats. no dyno but also, no CEL. seems to have good power and sounds mild to moderate. the build quality of these headers is excellent as is the fit and finish. also my militek catback is on order from Farn/Lowls also, desnorked. no plans to chip since results are questionable. good luck!

The Milltek Sport units are 200-cell precious metal coated stainless steel substrates. -Pete, Stratmosphere. [phone removed]

POST 5Original post

hands down the milltek ones. we're using that on our own car and as far as I know it's the only one using 200 cell cats, which is really important for avoiding CELs....

POST 6Original post

This turns out to be a very timely thread for me. I'm contemplating my next performance modification and have been thinking about a new exhaust system. Like Joseph, I want a full exhaust system - not just a cat-back system. ....something that won't piss off the computer. I'm going to keep my eye on this thread and see what other guys who've already made the modification have to say.
