Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Just saw this mentioned on another thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p... Haven't really kept track of Porsche prices that much but seems a little cheap compared to similar specs out there? Priced to sell or priced to scam? Doesn't say it's a cat d or anything, or info on previous owners, just curious what they're trading for in general?

POST 2Original post

Have seen something similar where they say don't contact via PH as the system is not working. In that instance it was a scam. I would be cautious

POST 3Original post

A little cheap? More like mega-cheap. Scam or very dubious history for sure. I'd bet my life savings it's not what it appears to be.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah it does scream scam! Was curious what they're actually trading for too

POST 6Original post

No, it's fine. In fact, I've bought it! I've transferred a deposit via Western Union but as the buyer's out of the country I have to deal with their shipping agent - car should be here in the next week or two. I just have to deposit the balance of the money with the shipping company's escrow service and once I've seen the car and checked it over I can then instruct them to pay the owner (or give it back to me if I reject the car). I've never heard of the shipping company before, but from the website it seems legit - what could possibly go wrong?
