Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi There Does anyone know why this car is so cheap? The sale seems not to have gone through.......... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....9&ssPageName=ADME:B:BCA:GB:1123#ht_500wt_1182 Below is the link I posted by accident! Sorry! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260493140425 Many thanks! Berni

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Lol, woops wrong link! Hi, sorry about that..... very funny though! Try this one.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....9&ssPageName=ADME:B:BCA:GB:1123#ht_500wt_1182 The dangers of cut and paste..........

POST 5Original post

Good job you didn't send us a link to the ***** you we were surfing last night :hand: Seriously, it may only be a couple of grand off average, even retail for that spec and mileage. Nothing surprising in the price, especially via eBay. Take a look here (if you are already an owner, take tissues, and no, its for your tears!) http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/li...gesize=15&xsl=list&y1=&y2=&d=0&dist=&nodays=0

POST 6Original post

Be very careful. I bought one similar to that, but it turned out to be Left Hand Drive!!

POST 7Original post

Fortunately, unless that is some ace photoshopping, it's RHD;

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi I accidentally posted a link to a model 911 turbo originally, so now there is a sort of thread within a thread. Buying a 911 is confusing enough without me cutting and pasting without due care and attention........ Berni

The beautiful, if bijou, Guards Red 996 Turbo: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260493140425

POST 10Original post

Apologies, between various updates, edits and replies, I think you may have humourously referred to the model. Which is indeed LHD.

POST 11Original post

How do you know it hasn't gone through? Reserve has been met. The listing is fixed on expiry of auction, so no information to say transaction has failed to complete or otherwise.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi No, its not mine, what happened is that I put a very cheeky 10k bid in just to help it along (and I would have paid that for it), but now it has come back with a second chance offer at 11k. I sent the owner a message asking for his telephone number, and also asking if the car was MOT'd and if it was a CAT C/D or on the register. I got an email back just saying the car is here please bring the money with you or words to that effect! So I think we all know the answer to why it is so cheap now and why the original sale did not go through........ I am back to looking at a high mileage (180k+) 993 at the weekend. All the best Berni
