Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Hi Jeremy, the PSE on mine was factory fitted, but I fitted the K&N.

So am wondering if I should leave the remap for another week or so to get used to the exhaust and induction change first.

What do you think, did you have your PSE and induction change fitted for you?

A lot of owners say there's no point having a remap on a n/a engine as there is no big gain in power, but i'm sure if you have the car set up to run 'properly' you will feel a difference.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anyone tried the Revo Technik remap from porscheshop?
Lasts for 5 hours before expiring, then it's £499 if you want to keep it.

My c4s is in with Porscheshop in a couple of weeks and I'm going to trial it, but now I notice that they are offering a free trail at tomorrows open day!

Thinking of having a remap done on my C4S so will be intereted to hear how much of a difference it makes to your car. Make sure you post the results!

PSE and induction kit
Hi Dave, I notice that you have a PSE and K&N 57i Induction Kit.
This is actually what I am having fitted with Porscheshop, and they suggested the remap. They offered it for free for me to trial so I figured why not.
Only thing is that with the PSE and the Induction Kit it is already going to feel different so I'm probably not going to be able to distinguish that from the remap.
So am wondering if I should leave the remap for another week or so to get used to the exhaust and induction change first.
What do you think, did you have your PSE and induction change fitted for you? And if so did you notice a performance change that I might confuse with a remap?
Jeremy
Hi Jeremy, the PSE on mine was factory fitted, but I fitted the K&N. Can't say I noticed much of a power gain to be honest, however, throttle response is better and the sound is beautiful! As you say, maybe leave it for a week or two to see if you do notice a power gain from the exhaust and K&N, otherwise you won't know if the remap is worth keeping. I just wish I was closer to the Porscheshop because I would definitely give the trial a go. I'll have to see if anyone 'up north' offers the same trial.
