Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Ok I know where it's coming from but I need to remove the headlining and side c panel down to the rear window has anyone done this or have any pictures of doing it as ive tried to remove the c piller panel and ended up with my clips popping out the plastic and one breaking.. i'm not sure how to remove the headling either or seperate the c piller panel from the back side panal that has the rear speaker.. or should I just pay Porsche to sort it out? i'm woried i'm goning to make it allot worse pulling on things that i'm not sure on how they come apart.. it's driving me crazy with it creaking and it cant have the dam thing open as its like fire crackers going off above my head....

POST 2Original post

take it to a porsche body shop or specialist if you have to could be complicated :dont know:

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ye thats what i was thinking to be honest.. i'm not really wanting to mess with the panels anymore as there expensive if I break them.. It'll prob cost allot but at least the dam thing will be fixed and I can actually drive my car and enjoy it without listening that bloody rattle... cheers PS I noticed that Porsche changed the sunroof mounts around 02 to fix this mine is 03 so they didnt do a very good job..

POST 4Original post

Just a thought - there are some foam pads which stop some rattles and we've found a couple of cars where they had fallen off or were missing. The OPC parts guys couldn't find them on any of their systems so we've ended up getting them off scrap cars at breakers and gluing them on (they are a shaped piece designed to give a damping effect so a normal foam pad wouldn't be as good). We've also found broken clips etc. Grant www.hartech.org
