I checked the contacts on the lamp socket and the connection in the rear of the headlight module with a continuity checker and everything seems A-OK.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2005 Boxster. I've checked the bulb and it's fine (changed it just to be safe) but still nothing. The headlight works. All 3 of the other turn indicators work (front and rear right side and rear left). Hazards show the same issue -- only front left light is out. I checked the contacts on the lamp socket and the connection in the rear of the headlight module with a continuity checker and everything seems A-OK. The blades inside the socket seem to be fine. Before I take it to a dealer for a more.. expensive.. diagnosis, is there something else I should check?

POST 2Original post

Hmmm...possibly an issue with the light switch?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Where would I find that? Is it something easily accessible without pulling everything apart?

POST 4Original post

If you've got power to the socket... start running through a few bulbs.

POST 5Original post

I have had some turn signal issues in the past always ended up being a headlight not being seated properly . Check fuse ,,check bulb ,check for power at socket .
